Fondulac District Library announces Star Wars Day, which celebrates one of the most popular sagas of all time. Free activities and programs for all ages will run throughout the day and include a Jedi training, crafts, games, Star Wars Selfie Stations, prizes drawings, and much more. Special guests from the 501st Legion, the Rebel Legion, and the Mandalorian Mercs costume clubs will be in attendance and available for photographs. East Peoria Robo Raiders will join us for a real droids demonstration.
Schedule of Events
- Carnival games and Robotics demonstrations: atrium, 10am-4pm
- Admiral Ackbar's Snack Bar: downstairs near atrium, 10am-4pm
- Crafts and activities in Youth Services: 10am-4pm
- Glowforge bookmarks & magnet-making: upstairs, 10am-4pm
- Video Games in upstairs Teen Space: 10am-4pm
- Photo Booth: Upstairs meeting rooms, 10am-4pm
- Quiet Space in Kolb Conference Room: 10am-4pm
- Jedi Academy: outdoor stage; Noon; 1pm & 2pm (civic meeting rooms adjacent to library in event of bad weather)
- Face Painting in atrium: Noon-2pm
